What our customers say...We pride ourselves on our work and operate with the utmost of integrity. But don't just take our word for it. Here's what just a few of our happy customers had to say about us. |
"Holly has provided repro and vet care for my horses for several years now. It is of enormous comfort to me to have a vet that I can trust so implicitly, not only for her superb veterinary and equine reproductive knowledge but for her manner with horses. I have very high standards for those who interact with my horses, and Holly's gentle, calm but assertive handling has enabled a number of potentially difficult procedures to go smoothly. I am thrilled that I can now send my pregnant mare to Bluebloodstock and be absolutely confident that both mare and foal will be looked after the way that I would look after them, as well as receiving the best in veterinary care before, during and after foaling. I'm very happy to be contacted for references." |

"We chose Blue Blood Equine because Holly Walton is a knowledgeable, experienced vet and competent horsewoman, so we were happy to leave our mare with her for the AI process. She was very thorough in assessing the mares suitability and health especially as she is 15 yrs old. Holly explained the AI procedure to us very clearly and kept us up to date with progress. Windy was returned to us in excellent condition and in foal." |

I absolutely recommend Holly Walton to any animal owner, without hesitation. She is the reason our premature foal, Boo, survived after his surprise birth (had no idea our mare was in foal). Every step of the way to Boo’s recovery Holly was there for us and Boo. We were completely inexperienced and Holly listened to all our concerns, advising us on his treatment daily, nothing was a silly question or too much trouble. Boo required a transfusion to survive, all of which Holly carried out with extreme professionalism, talking me through the steps in her calming and encouraging way, making me feel at ease and giving me confidence. Holly also treated our beloved elderly horse, Limo, when he had eye trouble. Again her dedication and compassion as she treated Limo several times a day, for several weeks saved his eye and gave us back our much loved pony. I trust Holly’s judgments completely and am very thankful to her for her exemplary care of our mare and foal, Limo and all our other animals over the years we have known her.

All upper North Island breeders and Australian breeders with mares also based there should be aware of this boutique foaling down and semen base situated in Pukekohe / Karaka area. This new asset for the breeding industry, is managed by a very good equine vet in Dr Holly Walton. Holly, has had a lot of past experience in both Australia and New Zealand. We can personally recommend Holly due to our own knowledge of her expertise in the equine breeding field from foaling down to starting the process again, while she worked in Ashburton. Apart from her great knowledge, her 7 day - 24 hour work ethic was always admired. When any unexpected emergency popped up at foaling time Holly didn't muck around getting there no matter what time of day or night. |
